Any Installation of Hydromx® not carried out in accordance with the Installation Instructions shall void any warranty given by our 8 year Warranty. Therefore, any installation or maintenance should be carried out by a qualified plumber, heating or mechanical engineer who has read the Instructions for Use. No chemicals or liquids, other than water or another Hydromx® product, should be added to the system once Hydromx® has been installed. For maximum Energy Saving Performance, the concentration levels of Hydromx® in the heating and cooling system should be no more than 60% and no less than 45%.
NOTE: It is recommended that on an annual basis, or after any maintenance or work is carried out to the system, the Hydromx® solution is checked by the installer to ensure the correct ratio of Hydromx® to water is maintained. A small top up of the Hydromx® solution may be required to restore the correct ratio of Hydromx® to water to restore the system to maximum efficiency. The customer should be aware that the energy savings achieved by each application of Hydromx® are dependent on the boiler, system configuration, system controls and insulation condition of the building. Furthermore, savings achieved may be impacted by changes in weather, lifestyle, use of the property and other energy efficiency measures. For example, changing thermostat settings, opening windows and the number of people using the property will effect energy consumption. Hydromx® is a valuable addition to a property and if the system needs to be drained for any reason the solution should be stored and kept in clean sealed containers, and re-installed on completion of the works. The Hydromx® solution should not be contaminated as this may damage the product, void the ability to recycle it, and impair the energy saving performance.
